Monkbam Records is the label that has quietly been the figurehead of many Boston-area rock bands in the past ten years. We were originally formed to help support the bands that recorded with Monkbam Studios and we continue that legacy today. In the future, we'll continue to grow our current bands and sign new ones, too.

We record using Avid ProTools using the best mics, mic preamps, and converters.

Q: Why the rock focus?
A: It's what we do best and enjoy the most. The term is admittedly pretty broad.

Our chief engineer has taught at Boston University's CDIA and has a deep understanding of audio theory, production, and legal issues. It's this understanding of audio and music that we bring to every musician, no matter what genre.
